Pastoral Staff:

Associate Pastor Matt Skinner - After meeting Pastor Gary and Joy through mutual friends, Matt began serving as a volunteer worship leader at SVC in 1994. He came on staff full-time in 2003 and gives leadership to our worship, youth, and children’s ministries. In his spare time, you'll find him playing guitar, taking day trips with the family, hanging out with good friends, and rooting for the New Orleans Saints. Who Dat!

Pastor Gary Rounsavall - Gary is the founding pastor of Solano Valley Church and a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He has been married to his wife, Joy, for over 20 years. They have three kids that they are hugely proud of: Caleb, Casady, and Faith. On his day off Gary and Joy like to drive the back way to Napa for lunch. He also enjoys bike riding in Gordon Valley and Suisun Valley, exploring places he’s never been, and is a huge Arkansas Razorback fan.

Administrative Staff:

Tessa Valle serves as our Director of Ministry Programming. She and her husband, Andrew, have two daughters - Lauren and Elisa. They have attended SVC since 2006. She also has a step-daughter, Andrea, a son-in-law, Brandon, two grandsons, and one granddaughter! Tessa loves challenging herself and participates in endurance sports.
